How to make the most out of your engagement session

COUPLE PHOTOS

1. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION - Choose a place for the shoot that is fitting for your personality as a couple. Are you a city or nature couple? Do you have any local spots that are special to your love story?

2. STYLE OUTFITS - Take time to choose complementary outfits that are fitting to the location of the shoot. Always pick outfits that you are comfortable wearing! I cannot emphasize this point enough! Most of us are not models, and professional photos are already initially awkward. Do yourself a favor and be as physically comfortable as possible!

3. PROPS - It happens to the best of us, you step in front of a camera and have no idea where to put your hands! Be sure to think of potential props that would look natural in the location that you chose. Going for an engagement shoot in a park? Then bring a blanket, basket and maybe some champagne. If all else fails, then use each other as a safe place for hands! ; )

4. KEEP AN OPEN MIND - Some of the best engagement shoots have resulted from potential disasters. Is there rain in the forecast? Just grab an umbrella and have FUN.

5. HIRE AN AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHER - If you haven't already, take a look at my website! I'd love to get to know you more! Be sure to drop a line at nkeeton@wonderyphotography.com. I CANNOT WAIT TO MEET YOU!
